Tired of working hard and still being broke?

Here’s a simple framework that changed how I think about money—if you’re humble enough to receive it. The 4 Levels of Value explain why some work feels heavy and capped, while other work creates true wealth.

Unification
Communication
Imagination

Because...

There are four levels of value that shape how you earn.

1. Implementation

This is trading muscles and minutes for money. On the lower end, it’s minimum wage work like preparing food — tossing frozen tacos into a microwave. On the higher end, it’s skilled, hands-on trades like a master diesel mechanic. Different pay, same constraint: income is tied to physical effort and hours.

2. Unification

Here you’re paid to organize and lead the work of others. You might earn around $80k managing a Taco Bell, or $250k leading a division at Boeing. You’re no longer doing everything yourself—you’re coordinating outcomes through people and process.

3. Communication

This is where true wealth begins. You earn through your message—clearly, ethically, in a way that helps. There are three requirements to use this level: you have a voice, you know how to use it, and you’re willing to use it.

At this level, income ranges from $100k to $100M. Think speakers, podcasters, talk-show hosts, singers, songwriters, actors— anyone who communicates value to the masses.

4. Imagination

The highest level. Your ideas and decisions shape reality. The questions you ask become the lanes you drive: How can I afford it?How great will this be when it works? Which is far superior than thinking I can’t afford it and This won’t work, why try?

Those who master imagination unlock uncapped potential. Steve Jobs pictured the iPhone before the world asked for it— now nearly everyone over ten carries one. Walt Disney turned a sketch of a mouse into a global entertainment empire.
